Building Youth Around the World began with the vision of Braedon McCracken, a Salt Lake City youth then 13 years old, who wanted to help peers in the country of his father’s birth.

In consultation with community leaders, our 501(c)3 was born. Braedon spearheaded the project in the Philippines, and Building Youth donated backpacks, chalk, pencils, chairs, marker boards, canned food, rice, and other items to Iloilo Christian Academy, directly helping nearly 300 students complete their school term.

This assistance further impacted more than 1000 people, as the families of the students were temporarily relieved of the financial burden of providing for their education and could devote themselves to saving money for future school terms and everyday needs.
