Jeana is a licensed benefit consultant and registered nurse with 30 years of healthcare and insurance carrier experience. She graduated from University of Utah and has been a principal at Diversified Insurance for 20 years. She has a passion for helping companies manage their healthcare costs with alternative funding strategies.
She is married to Bret and has 5 kids and 4 grandkids. Jeana has a passion for non-profit work and has sat on multiple boards over the years. She and her family are very committed to Building Youth Around the world and helping create the next generation of global citizens that wants to make a difference in the world.
Teressa is the owner of Elite Accountants, Incorporated located in Murray, Utah, where they provide full service accounting and tax services for individuals and businesses in Salt Lake City and the surrounding areas for over ten years.
Teressa received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Utah in 1994 and her Masters in Business Administration from Westminster College in June, 2002.
Teressa has worked in the accounting industry as a Financial Operations Analyst for Human Affairs International, a subsidiary of Aetna; as well as the Director of Finance for Fox Television. After leaving Fox Television, Teressa returned to private practice and later opened her own practice Elite Accountants Incorporated. Teressa takes great pride in her relationships with her clients and liaisons and enjoys the many relationships that have been built through the years of her practice with her clients and employees.
Teressa has spent most of her time focusing on her career and she also donated her kidney to her sister in 2006. Both are very important in her life and Teressa is in a position now to start being able to help in the community serving on various associations for children in need. Teressa enjoys going to Lake Powell and spending time at her cabin and sharing time with family and friends.
Kristy Bullock is a working mother of three children. She is the Manager for Building Youth Around the World and works hard each day in changing the world, one child at a time. Kristy received her Associate of Applied Science Degree from LDS Business College in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Kristy has always loved children and understands the absolute importance of making sure every child possible receives an education, obtains proper healthcare and be given leadership development as a youth. Of her three children, one is adopted and another has gone through three surgeries over the past several years to overcome the effects of a grand cell tumor. Kristy, herself, has battled for many years her own fight against Dermatomyositis, a lupus like disease. Side effects from the disease have caused her to have a total hip replacement as well as numerous other surgeries. She has been in remission for the past ten + years and is healthy and happy and well. Kristy and her entire family are very active with Building Youth Around the World and other organizations that help children obtain everything they can to become healthy contributors to their environment and society. We are so excited to have her as a part of the Board of Trustees and respect and constantly seek her opinion and great wisdom!
Ken is a Sr. Human Resources Consultant and CEO where he coaches organizations in people management techniques through his human resource solutions, compliance and training business, HR Service, Inc. https://www.hrserviceinc.com. Ken earned his Masters Degree in Human Resource Management and Bachelors of Science Degree in Marketing and Finance from the University of Utah.
He has over 20 years of professional human resources management experience and is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) through the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI). Ken is very actively involved in his community and has supported children’s causes for many years to include Building Youth Around the World. His management strengths and clear thinking brings great stability to the foundation and we are grateful to have him as a part of the Board of Trustees.
Ian McCracken, Co-Founder and Executive Director of Building Youth Around the World is also the Owner and President of PRI (www.prorecruitingint.com), which is an executive recruiting and consulting firm based in West Jordan, Utah. Ian has a Masters of Business Administration with an emphasis in management and IT from Utah State University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology with a Minor in French from the University of Utah. He also received his PHR (Professional Human Resources) certification.
Ian has been blessed with a passion for helping those in need. He especially cares deeply for children and spends much of his free time in volunteering and raising funds for children throughout the world. His interest in international venues probably began as a baby when he was born on Clark Air Force Base in Manila, Philippines. He has since visited over 20 countries and has recently conducted humanitarian work in Samoa, the Philippines and the United States. He is often asked to speak and present in varied venues on a broad array of topics. Ian is known for his integrity and wisdom and brings a fun and unique perspective to Building Youth Around the World.
