Building Youth Around the World has discovered some big needs for the kids in Puerto Plato, Dominican Republic.

 There wasn’t any space in the community for the kids to run and play, even at the school.

Negotiations with the city took place to donate land across from the school and converted that land into a park. Approvals were made to add a soccer net, basketball court, trees, swing set, and a play area.

 The work was done by local community members and supplies were all purchased locally. Additional school supplies were purchased for the kids at the school.

 Building Youth Around the World partnered with the local community and the park is now complete!
