Building Youth Around the World added more youth participants in Utah and broadened our efforts overseas, contributing school fees, supplies, uniforms, personal hygiene supplies, and thousands of pounds of food to 338 students and their families in Vailele, Samoa. Samoan children were able to remain in school and were not forced to drop out and work as manual laborers, and the school supplies (such as paper, pencils, and day planners for the teachers) allowed classes to concentrate on learning instead of meeting basic needs.
