Our Story
Building Youth Around the World was founded by Braedon McCracken in 2009.
When the foundation was first established, Braedon was only 13 years old and, at that time, he had a keen desire to make a true difference in the lives of as many children around the world as he could. His first Humanitarian trip in 2009 was for his Eagle Scout project and it took place in Iloilo, Philippines where he personally delivered school and nutritional supplies to hundreds of children and their families.
Since that time, hundreds of youth have completed awe-inspiring humanitarian trips around the globe. Building Youth Around the World currently serves in 13 countries and manages as many as 10 to 20 projects every year. These projects include health, education, nutrition, construction, surgeries, and other humanitarian work. The desire of all the young people involved in this foundation to truly make a difference is a lesson that many adults would be blessed to learn. We are grateful for their high standards and desire to do good in a world that can be difficult, at best, for so many children.
